Imported Yellow Pine

Origin: Finland and the Scandinavian region. These trees grow slowly in the cold northern climate, producing tight rings, resulting in very straight and strong lumber.

Characteristics:

  • Color: Ranges from light yellowish white to light brown. The heartwood is distinctly darker (light reddish brown).
  • Texture: Straight, with a distinct and regular grain pattern. It is a soft and light wood, very easy to work with.
