Sustainable Forest Management and Environmentally Friendly Production
As Köse Foresty, we adopt sustainability as a fundamental principle in our wood production processes. We conduct our activities with an awareness of protecting natural resources and leaving a liveable environment for future generations.
Our sustainability policy is based on three fundamental principles:
- Certified and controlled forest management
- Energy efficiency and waste management
- Social responsibility and contribution to society
In our supply processes, we use timber sourced from FSC® and PEFC™ certified forests. For every tree cut down, new saplings are planted to ensure the continuity of forest resources.
Our production facilities utilise highly energy-efficient equipment, and wood shavings and wood waste are recycled through our waste management system. All necessary technical measures are taken to prevent air and water pollution.
We aim to promote sustainable production practices by offering our customers environmentally friendly product options.
