Origin: Southeastern regions of the USA (Southern Yellow Pine).
Properties:
- Color: Natural light yellowish/brown color, which transforms into a rich and uniform dark brown tone through thermal treatment. Depending on the treatment temperature, amber or dark chocolate tones can be achieved.
- Texture: Distinct grain pattern is preserved, surface hardness increases.
- Mechanical Properties: High dimensional stability (not affected by moisture, does not crack or warp). Maximum resistance to water, moisture, mold, and decay (Natural durability class 1). Heat treatment preserves the pine's natural strength while increasing its durability. The process is completely natural and chemical-free.
